TradeWinds Resorts is celebrating the 2023 festive season with a myriad of activities that are sure to bring joy and warmth to our guests. The Ugly Sweater Contest and poolside party are always a hit, offering a perfect blend of fun, games, trivia, and more. Families will also cherish moments spent writing letters to Santa and engaging in delightful cookie decorating sessions. Campfire Stories and S'mores with Mrs. Claus are also set to add a touch of enchantment to the oceanside holiday spirit.
Our "Sea-sonal" Poolside Holiday Crafts will allow guests to unleash their creativity while enjoying the sunny Florida weather. And of course, you won’t want to forget to visit our heartwarming Santa photo ops, capturing precious moments for families to treasure.
Christmas Extravaganza
On Christmas Day, TradeWinds is pulling out all the stops to make the day magical for our guests. The Island Ballroom will host a lavish Christmas Day Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., featuring live musical entertainment in an elegant setting. For those seeking an equally delightful evening, Christmas Day Dinner will be served from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at RumFish Grill, and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Palm Court Italian Grill. Guests are encouraged to reserve their tables early to savor these delectable holiday feasts.
Countdown to the New Year
TradeWinds Resorts is ushering in 2024 with the Toast By the Coast New Year's Eve Masquerade Party. The celebration will offer an array of delights, including hors d'oeuvres, a chef’s meat-carving station, pasta bar, decadent dessert table, and unlimited wine and beer for guests. Live dance music will set the stage for a night of revelry, culminating in a champagne toast at midnight. A parallel Glitter & Glow New Year's Eve Kids celebration is set to provide younger guests with their own special festivities, ensuring that families can welcome the New Year together. Special New Year's Eve dinners will also be available at RumFish Grill and Palm Court Italian Grill, providing an intimate and upscale dining experience for those seeking a romantic start to the year.
Seasonal Specials in 2024
TradeWinds will continue to delight guests in 2024 with a variety of special occasions, including our Valentine's Day Package — offering a special stay offer and a romantic Valentine's Day menu at both Palm Court Italian Grill and RumFish Grill. The Easter Egg-Stravaganza promises family fun with a Build-A-Bunny station, Easter basket deliveries, an Easter egg hunt in the Garden Courtyard, photos with the Easter bunny, and a poolside "dive-in" movie. For Mother's Day, TradeWinds invites guests to treat their moms to a special brunch and dinner at Palm Court Italian Grill and RumFish Grill. Pamper mom with spa treatments and enjoy a complimentary sip-and-savor reception.
Seas the Summer and Red, White & Views
TradeWinds Resorts also has planned exciting events for Memorial Day Weekend and the 4th of July in the coming year. "Seas the Summer" Memorial Day Weekend will feature live music, food and drink specials, a beachfront cookout, a holiday poolside party with games, contests, poolside crafts, and entertainment. The weekend will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display. The Red, White & Views 4th of July Weekend will offer a dazzling array of activities, including fireworks, cookouts, live music, food and drink specials, a family magic show, a pirate party, and sea glass wall art and jewelry making classes.
Looking Ahead
The second half of 2024 is shaping up to be no less exciting than the first, with a full schedule of Labor Day Weekend Activities like the annual Bucs Beach Bash (co-hosted by the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers), a Halloween weekend complete with pumpkin-carving, trick-or-treating for the kids, and spooky campfire stories. And it all culminates by wrapping right back to Thanksgiving, set to feature a Turkey Trot fun run, apple-bobbing, pie-eating contests, and a sumptuous harvest dinner with all the traditional trimmings.
New Culinary Experiences
TradeWinds Resorts is also proud to announce the opening of new bars and restaurants for 2024, enhancing the on-premises culinary experience for our guests. Pete's Gulf Bistro will offer upscale family dining, while Playa Taco is a lively fast-casual taqueria and tequila bar. TradeWinds Grab & Go will offer guests fresh-made pizza, a sweet tooth-satisfying candy zone, and locally made Yoder's Southern Creamery ice cream, perfect for cooling off on those lazy sunny days. The iconic Salty's Beach Lounge has also undergone an update, and now offers all-day beachside dining and improved "toes in the sand" lounge seating. Guests can savor delicious meals while soaking up the sun and enjoying the breathtaking ocean views just steps away.
