We’ve worked diligently to ensure that TradeWinds Resort is ready for your visit, and we can’t wait for you to experience everything that makes our hotels on award-winning St. Pete Beach so special.

When is Island Grand opening?
We are thrilled to announce that Island Grand is reopening on November 21, 2024. We look forward to welcoming you home!
What amenities and services are available?
At RumFish Beach, Guests enjoy 24/7 front desk services, daily housekeeping, operational elevators, dining options at RumFish Grill, Sunshine Grounds n' Goods, and poolside bites from our eclectic VW Van, access to the Beachfront pool and Oasis Courtyard pool, and a daily schedule of recreation and activities.
Upon reopening at Island Grand on Nov. 21st, Guests will enjoy 24/7 front desk services, daily housekeeping, operational elevators, dining options at Palm Court Italian and Buoy Bar, access to the Beachfront Pool and Family Pools, and a daily schedule of recreation and activities.

What F&B options are open at RumFish Beach?
The following food and beverage options are open at ready to serve you!
- RumFish Grill Restaurant: open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- RumFish Grill Bar: open daily from 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- Sunshine Grounds n' Goods: open daily from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Serving breakfast items, hearty sandwiches and grab-and-go items.
- VW Van: serving poolside bites, located on the pool deck at RumFish Beach, open daily at 11:00 a.m.
- The SandBar Patio: serving tropical drinks, cold beer and wine on the pool deck, open daily at 11:00 a.m.
What F&B options will be open at Island Grand?
The following food and beverage options will be open and ready to serve you!
- Palm Court Italian: open daily for breakfast from 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- The Buoy Bar: open daily for poolside bites from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Salty's Tiki Bar: open daily from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Serving tropical drinks, cold beer and wine.
- Palm Bar: open daily from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
What activities will be included in the Resort Amenity Fee?
The following activities are included in the Resort Amenity Fee. Activities that were previously located at our neighboring Island Grand hotel will be relocated to RumFish Beach, and available to our Guests.

Is it safe to stay at the resort after the storm?
Yes, we are reopening only after thoroughly assessing the safety and condition of the resort. We are continuing to restore the property, but the areas open to guests have been cleared for operation, and are safe.
Will there be daily housekeeping services?
Yes, daily housekeeping is available to all guests to ensure your comfort.
Are the pools open?
Yes, the Beachfront Pool, Oasis Courtyard Pool, and Mahi Pool at RumFish Beach are open, with available lounge seating for your relaxation.
The Beachfront Pool and Cypress Family Pools at Island Grand will be open on Thursday, Nov. 21st.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available for $25 per night in the parking garage at RumFish Beach, and in the parking lot at RumFish Grill restaurant.
Is RumFish Grill fully operational?
Yes, RumFish Grill is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a limited menu from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Bar service is also available starting at 11:00 a.m.
When will all areas of the resort be fully operational?
Restoration is ongoing, and we will provide updates as we continue to work toward full recovery. We appreciate your patience as we restore the resort to its full capacity.
What should I do if I had a reservation at Island Grand?
Guests with reservations at Island Grand will be accommodated at RumFish Beach until Island Grand is reopened. We will contact you directly should your reservation be affected.
How can I modify or cancel my reservation?
If you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please contact us directly at reservations@twresort.com or through the platform where you originally booked your stay.
What should I do if I booked through a third-party site?
If you booked through a third-party platform (such as Booking.com or Expedia), please contact them directly regarding your reservation or refund request. We are in communication with these platforms and have notified them of the situation.
