Resort Transportation Services
Located in the Island Grand lobby, Resort Transportation Services maintains a full fleet of vehicles and drivers for airport transportation or excursions throughout the Tampa Bay area. Call Resort Transportation at 727.343.3303 for rates and availability. Transportation fees vary depending on how many people are in your group, and what airport you need transportation to/from.
Car Rental
For your convenience, onsite car rental from Hertz is available at Island Grand. Onsite agents are available Monday- Friday: 8:00 a.m.-1:30 pm. and 2:30 p.m-5:00 p.m. Call 727.360.1631 for special offers and reservations. If calling outside of these times, the Hertz call center is available at 888.407.1416.
Freebee Shuttle Service
Freebee is a free, door-to-door, on-demand transportation service, provided by St. Pete Beach! Pick-up and drop-off anywhere in St. Pete Beach, from Pass-a-Grille to the Blind Pass Bridge. Freebee vehicles are 100% electric and emission-free.
SunRunner
The SunRunner is a new Bus Rapid Transit service, looping customers from St. Pete Beach to downtown St. Petersburg, and anywhere in between. Cruising past traffic in its own lane, the SunRunner will get you where you need to go with no parking hassles. Takes about 35 minutes to get from the beach to downtown, and runs every 15 minutes. The SunRunner has generously been funded by the city of St. Petersburg.
Trolley Service
Suncoast Beach Trolley stops on 75th Avenue, about 1 mile north of TradeWinds. Rides are included in the Resort Amenity Fee. Simply show your TradeWinds Go Pass wristband! The trolley allows visitors to explore the beach communities from Clearwater to 75th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard without the worry of driving and parking. In addition to the services along Gulf Boulevard, connector routes run between the coast and downtown St. Petersburg.
